Warranty
RC Millwork Limited Warranty
Products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for three years from the completion/installation date. This warranty applies to the original purchasing consumer and is non-transferable.
This warranty is a limited warranty which will cover the cost to replace OR repair the defective component only, once it has been inspected by an authorized representative of RC Millwork. Transportation costs and/or labor charges are not covered by this warranty and are assumed costs by the original purchaser. This warranty is void due to product damage or failure stemming from abuse, neglect, mishandling, alteration, modification or subject to extreme temperatures or moisture levels. This warranty is not valid when products are used for any other purpose other than the intended purpose. The warranty does not cover any product used in connection with the cabinets, such as gas or electric appliances, countertops or plumbing fixtures. Door hinges and drawer slides carry a manufacturers warranty and will be replaced if failure occurs during the manufacturers warranty period.
Warranty Disclaimers:
On wood or laminate cabinets color variations in cabinets are a natural occurrence due to species, age, character of cabinets, and exposure to UV light and sunlight. For these reasons new or replacement cabinets may not match display samples or existing cabinets. Such variations and changes are not considered defects. Always be aware that excessive pressure from leaning on or hanging onto cabinet doors may compromise the hinge, or tear the hinge plate off of the cabinet and/or cabinet door.
General Care and Maintenance Tips:
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaning solutions or scouring pads.
Cleans spills promptly, to avoid possible damage.
Do not hang any wet materials on doors or drawer fronts. Over time this could potentially damage the finish of the piece.
Do not allow children to swing on doors or to use drawers as step ladders.
Care of laminate doors:
Laminate doors are easy to clean and maintain. For regular cleaning using ordinary soap and water is recommended with a soft cloth. Our laminate products have a three year warranty against de-lamination, however any de-lamination that is due to heat is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
Care of wood cabinets:
Wood cabinet doors require special care. Water can be extremely hazardous to the lacquer finish. Clean any finished wood cabinet piece with a mild soap and water solution. Use a slightly dampened cloth to wipe down the finished wood, making sure that no excess water remains. Wood products that are damaged by excess moisture are not covered under warranty.
Care of laminate countertops:
Laminate surfaces can be cleaned with a mild soap and water solution. Never use abrasive or corrosive cleaning products. Make sure to remove any moisture from seam joints or laminate joints as separation of the laminate may occur. Never leave wet rags or cloths on the laminate countertop joints. Laminate joints that are damaged due to moisture are not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
